Autoblogger (with Tak Cheung)

Autoblogger is an installation that I designed with Tak Cheung within Fabrica, which facilitates the creative energy of the residents through a simple tactile blogging interface. It is a table to sit down at, make drawings or arrange objects, and take a photo of the composition or drawing by pressing a red button next to a feedback monitor. A camera directly overhead (hidden within a lamp) points towards the table, and a monitor shows the framing of the shot. After a photo is taken, it is automatically uploaded to the Fabrica website. This allows a visitor to spontaneously generate content within a physical space without logging into a blogging system, thus enabling multiple authorship through a transparent, anonymous blogging interface.See photos taken with autoblogger: http://www.fabrica.it/phblog/physicalblog.php*made with openFrameworks
